So in the late 80s the Civil Service was on strike for more money (some things never change).  I was the local TU chairman and manned the picket line with my dog (Cally the boxer).  Andrew (not on strike) drove up in his big motor and opened the window, doubtless to tell me to go to work, but before either of us could say anything, Cally jumped into the space once occupied by Andrew's car window - Cally was a very friendly dog and to be fair Andrew never held it against me.
